Sun Chemical to present its portfolio of advanced materials at Display Week 2018

Sun Chemical (Parsippany, New Jersey) and its parent company, DIC Corporation, will showcase their portfolio of display application solutions during Display Week 2018 (20-25 May in Los Angeles). Visitors will be introduced to a range of innovative technologies for displays, including liquid crystal and photoalignment materials from DIC Corporation, nanosilver and border inks for form and function, conductive pastes and inks for electroluminescent lighting, tapes and adhesives, and optical materials.

CYNORA presents high-performance blue TADF emitters at the SID Display Week 2018

CYNORA (Bruchsal, Germany), a leader in TADF (thermally activated delayed fluorescence) materials for OLEDs, presents its newest high-performing blue emitting materials at the SID Display Week 2018 (20-25 May) in Los Angeles. The company is currently working with the key display makers to finish the commercialisation of the industry’s first blue high-efficiency emitter.

Under the technical direction of Wolfgang Mildner, managing director of MSWtech, the printed electronics symposium in Nuremberg (4 and 5 July) will present technological possibilities, advantages and development potentials for the printing of electronic functions on the basis of conventional and organic materials.

Kateeva experts inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame for their OLED device

At a recent gala event in Washington DC to celebrate US innovation, Kateeva’s (Newark, California) CTO Emeritus, Steven Van Slyke was inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame (NIHF) for 2018. Van Slyke was recognised for his co-invention of the OLED device. He shared the accolade with his co-inventor, Ching Tang. Kateeva’s CEO, Alain Harrus, and president, Conor Madigan, joined the celebration to honour the two for their ground-breaking invention.
