From automotive to healthcare and everything in between: Companies and institutes from all around the globe submitted their latest products and demonstrators in the area of organic and printed electronics to the OE-A Competition 2020. Annually organised by OE-A (Organic and Printed Electronics Association), a working group within VDMA, this competition challenges the printed electronics industry.

OE-A Business Climate Survey: Printed electronics expects another year of growth

The signs are still set for growth in the organic and printed electronics industry. This is the clear message to result from the latest business climate survey conducted by the OE-A (Organic and Printed Electronics Association), a working group within VDMA. 90 percent of the survey participants expect the industry to continue its positive development in the coming year. The worldwide crisis caused by Covid-19 will however not leave companies unaffected.

LOPEC 2020 cancelled, OE-A General Assembly postponed

The news came Friday in the late afternoon: “Due to the increasing spread of COVID19 in Europe and based on the recommendation of the Bavarian State Government for trade fairs, Messe München feels compelled to cancel LOPEC in responsibility for the health of exhibitors and visitors,” stated a tweet by the organisers of the leading event for organic and printed electronics, which was scheduled to take place from 24-26 March.
