With Janssen Pharmaceutica N.V. from Belgium the OE-A (Organic and Printed Electronics Association) has just welcomed its newest member. The association now represents 200 companies and institutions from 31 countries around the world.

“As a corporation that is internationally active and an end-user in pharmaceuticals and medical technologies, the global network of the OE-A is the ideal platform for cooperation for us”, explains Eric Snoeckx, director Open Innovation & Networking at Janssen Pharmaceutica.

Now OE-A is turning its attention on Asia as the newly elected vice chairman of the OE-A board Prof Toshihide Kamat, director of the Flexible Electronics Research Centre at AIST, Japan, points out: „Internationally, the OE-A is the most important association for this young industry. It supports companies through numerous services such as roadmapping, education and training, information exchange, demonstrators or standardisation. I am looking forward to aiding the continued expansion of our network in Asia.“
