H+K Group and Deutsche Telekom establish partnership for connected devices

Hoffmann + Krippner has been developing the product line of connected devices for three years. This division focuses on connected sensors, input systems and industrial electronics with cloud platforms and enterprise software. Mobile communication technology was set at an early stage as the path for data transmission – the LTE-M and NB-IoT energy-saving and data-saving options as well as LoRa (Long Range Wireless) and BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) options in addition to the 2G, 3G and LTE standards.

Japan Display unveils flexible fingerprint sensor

Japan Display Inc. (JDI) has developed a capacitive-type flexible fingerprint sensor by integrating its capacitive-type glass-based fingerprint sensor technology and flexible display technology. JDI has been developing large-sized sensors and transparent sensors that enhance product design by taking further advantage of the features of glass-based fingerprint sensors currently being mass-produced.
