At the 15th IDTechEx Printed Electronics Europe conference and exhibition in Berlin on 10-11 April, four companies were honoured for their great achievements in developing and commercialising printed electronics technologies. The judges of the awards were Dr Graham Anderson from BEKO, Dr Kiarash Vakhshouri from Google and Dr Adeline Koay from Diageo. The awards were presented by Dr Richard Collins of IDTechEx in Berlin on 10 April 2019. A summary of the awards and winners are as follows:
On 13 February, the 2018 FLEXI Awards recognised groundbreaking accomplishments in the Flexible Hybrid Electronics (FHE) sector in the last year. Presented at the opening session of the 17th annual 2018FLEX Conference and Exhibition, in Monterey, California, the awards spotlighted the following leaders in the categories of R&D Achievements, Product Innovation and Commercialisation, Education Leadership and Industry Leadership.
In 2013, CYNORA GmbH, a provider of singlet harvesting technology for use in OLEDs based in Bruchsal, Germany, had won the “Falling Walls Science Start-up of the Year” award. This year, Dr Tobias Grab, CEO of CYNORA, has been appointed as a member of the panel for the Falling Walls Conference, which takes place from 8 to 9 November in Berlin.
