Pragmatic Semiconductor appoints industry veteran as SVP, Manufacturing & Operations

 

Pragmatic Semiconductor (Cambridge, UK) has appointed semiconductor industry veteran, Shane Geary, as Senior Vice President, Manufacturing & Operations. Geary will take over from Ken Williamson to lead the Operations and Manufacturing divisions with immediate effect. Geary comes to Pragmatic with over 25 years leadership experience in semiconductor technology, manufacturing and operations.

Previously, Geary held several positions at Analog Devices Inc. (ADI) where he was most recently Vice President of Manufacturing Operations and Technology. He has over 25 years leadership experience in semiconductor technology, manufacturing and operations. During his very successful career at ADI, Shane's responsibilities included full accountability for manufacturing and operations for a number of ADI's wafer fabs in both Ireland and the United States, in addition to process technology leadership for several key areas of the company's technology portfolio. Geary received a master's degree in Microelectronic Engineering from University College Cork, a master's degree in Applied Statistics from Sheffield Hallam University and is soon to complete an MBA at the University of Warwick.

Ken Williamson, who currently leads Pragmatic’s manufacturing and operations function, will continue to play a key role in the company as Senior Strategic Program Lead – Manufacturing/Operations
