WiseChip shows flexible and transparent PMOLED at Touch Taiwan 2017

 

WiseChip has unveiled its latest transparent PMOLED and a wide variety of flexible PMOLED product applications at Touch Taiwan at the Taipei World Trade Center Nangang Exhibition Hall in Taiwan. 

WiseChip presented a transparent PMOLED application for HUD, which has more than 65 degrees of transparency and brightness greater than 1500nits. The transparent OLED HUD have wide viewing angle, high contrast, high speed, low power and wild temperature using the range. They are expected to provide a clear and bright image to drivers in any weather condition and any times.

The transparent OLED HUD products have been awarded the 2017 Taiwan Excellence Award. The Taiwan Excellence Awards are granted by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) on behalf of the Ministry of Economic Affairs. Nominees are put through a rigorous evaluation based on five criteria – R&D, design, quality, marketing, and being made in Taiwan.

Furthermore, the display is thinner, lighter and more durable than LCDs. In addition, PMOLED is considered as a well embedded solution; it is able to be incorporated into applications with varying sizes, and fully customisable. It can be applied in portable electronics, automotive, medical, household applications, embedded security and so on.
