Touch Taiwan 2017 opens with surging exhibitor numbers

 

This year is the sixth edition of the Touch Taiwan tradeshow in Taipei, which is hosted by the Taiwan Display Union Association (TDUA). As the display industry supply chains widely cover semiconductors, panels, smart machinery, electronics equipment, materials, components, electronic information, commercial displays, digital signage, and numerous domestic and international enterprises in the supply chains, particularly those in the fields of panels have shown enthusiastic participation in Touch Taiwan, making it the world's largest professional display industry fair.

This year, the show records 978 booths and 342 exhibitors, up 12% respectively from last year. All the related application fields are well integrated to highlight the latest technologies and applications. The "Optoelectronics Applications Thematic Area" is a newly launched exhibit area this year, designed to offer the most complete presentation of OLED applications, 3D curved glass technology and core optoelectronic technologies, materials and applications.

Moreover, the show's organisers have announced that in 2018, Touch Taiwan will run in Tandem with OPTO Taiwan from 29-31 August. OPTO Taiwan focuses on the photonics industry, which is one of the leading sectors in Taiwan. The event is scheduled to take place at Nangang Exhibition Center as well.
